7 Handy Tips for Streamlining Your Shipping Process with GoSweetSpot
Are you tired of spending too much time and effort on shipping logistics? Look no further than GoSweetSpot! Our comprehensive shipping platform is designed to make your life easier and your shipping process more efficient. To help you make the most of our platform, here are seven handy tips to streamline your shipping process:
Batch Processing:
eSave time by utilising GoSweetSpot’s batch-processing feature. Instead of creating labels one by one, upload a CSV file with all your shipment details to create multiple labels at once. This is especially useful for businesses with high shipping volumes, allowing you to streamline label creation and get your packages out the door faster.
Address Book:
Store frequently used shipping addresses in GoSweetSpot’s address book. This eliminates the need to re-enter addresses each time you create a label, saving you time and reducing the risk of errors. Simply select the desired address from your address book during label creation, and you’re good to go.
Shipping Rules:
Take advantage of GoSweetSpot’s shipping rules feature to automate label creation based on predefined criteria. For example, you can set rules to automatically select the appropriate shipping service based on package weight or destination. This helps ensure consistent and accurate label creation, saving you time and reducing the likelihood of errors.
Customised Label Templates:
Customise your label templates to include branding elements, special instructions, or additional information relevant to your shipments. GoSweetSpot offers flexible customisation options, allowing you to create professional-looking labels that reflect your brand identity.
Integration with E-commerce Platforms:
Seamlessly integrate GoSweetSpot with your e-commerce platform to streamline order fulfillment. By syncing your orders directly with GoSweetSpot, you can automate label creation and streamline the shipping process, saving you time and reducing the risk of manual errors.
Real-Time Tracking:
Keep your customers informed about the status of their shipments with GoSweetSpot’s real-time tracking feature. Provide customers with tracking numbers and links to track their packages online, giving them peace of mind and reducing the number of inquiries to your customer service team.
Optimise Packaging:
Properly package your items to minimise dimensional weight charges and reduce shipping costs. GoSweetSpot offers packaging advice and tools to help you choose the most cost-effective packaging options for your shipments. By optimising your packaging, you can reduce shipping costs and improve the overall efficiency of your shipping process.
By implementing these handy tips, you can streamline your shipping process, save time and money, and provide a better experience for your customers. Ready to take your shipping process to the next level? Sign up for GoSweetSpot today and experience the difference for yourself!
Wairoa Services Disruption 19/04/2023
There will be a road closure between Gisborne and Wairoa, which will impact our services to Wairoa. The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has advised that the road will be closed from 8am Wednesday the 19th April until 8am Friday the 21st of April.. This closure will prevent any access to Wairoa during this period.
As a result, there will be no services to Wairoa on Wednesday, April 19th or Thursday, April 20th. Our services will resume on Thursday, March 30th once the road is reopened.
We kindly request that you refrain from sending any cold chain or time-sensitive freight during this timeframe. Additionally, please be aware that there will be delays following this closure as the Wairoa courier deals with the backlog.
If you have already sent any freight to Wairoa during this period, please note that it will be held at Gisborne until Thursday, March 30th.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding in this matter.
NZ Post’s Update on Perishables during Cyclone Gabrielle
Cyclone Gabrielle continues to bring adverse weather conditions to the Upper North Island, causing delays for parcel and mail deliveries in and out of these areas.
We have prioritised as many priority and perishable items as possible and implemented contingency plans using alternative road routes where possible. However, many perishable items will still be delayed, as the air network has been cancelled overnight, and we are unable to transport and carry out deliveries to impacted areas.
We are asking that customers do not send Perishable items in or out of the following areas:
Northland
Auckland
Coromandel
Bay of Plenty
Gisborne
Between the North and South Islands
We will notify you when usual perishable sending resumes in these areas.
Please be advised that the delivery of perishable items may be impacted for a number of days, depending on weather and road network conditions. We are continually implementing contingency plans, to ensure parcels reach their destinations as safely and quickly as possible.
Find the latest updates on our Domestic Delivery updates page, and locate parcels through our online parcel tracking.
Please help us to keep our Customer Contact Centre for business critical enquiries only.
Thank you for your support and patience as we work through this together.
Service Update: Weather Conditions
Current weather conditions in certain areas are causing delays, please be mindful of below (especially if you are sending cold chain or time sensitive products).
1) Whangamata and Whitianga are problem areas at present and it is not safe for many couriers to operate. There will be no further freight in or out until the weather moderates.
2) The Far North is also becoming marginal. There are multiple slips and trees down. It is possible that both inbound and outbound freight from Whangarei, Bay Of Islands & Katikati may not be able to be move if conditions continue to deteriorate.
