Post Haste and Castle Parcels Oversized Item Surcharge
From Monday, 2 November 2026, a new $10 surcharge per oversized item, excluding GST and FAF (Fuel Adjustment Factor), will be added to applicable shipments. This applies to approved items exceeding either 0.125m³ in volume or 1.8m in length.
GoSweetSpot will pass this carrier surcharge on at cost, in addition to your usual freight charges.
How to check your parcel size
Volume is calculated by multiplying length × width × height in metres. For example, a carton measuring 50cm × 50cm × 50cm has a volume of 0.125m³.
Please measure each item once fully packaged, including any wrapping or protruding parts, and enter the correct dimensions when booking through GoSweetSpot.
Your existing oversized freight approval remains subject to the limits and conditions agreed with the carrier.
