We’re making a small update to the goods declaration options available when creating international shipments through GoSweetSpot.
Following an update requested by NZ Post, the current declaration options are being expanded to provide more detail around the type of goods being sent.
The updated options will include separate selections for B2B and B2C/eCommerce merchandise, along with an Other option. If Other is selected, you’ll also be able to enter a description of the goods.
We’ll also be updating the default declaration type from Merchandise to eCommerce (B2C).
You’ll still be able to select the declaration type that best suits your shipment before completing your booking.
There’s no action required from you before this update goes live. We simply wanted to give you a heads-up as you’ll notice the new options when creating shipments.
